POKOTABI / Meister Cafe
マイスターカフェ
Situated in the L-wing of Oi Racecourse, Meister Cafe serves espresso drinks, popular French toast, and hot hormone cheese grills to keep racegoers fuelled between events.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Perched on the second floor of the L-wing at Oi Racecourse, Meister Cafe functions as a reliable pit stop amid the bustle of the grandstand, offering well-made cafe drinks alongside substantial snacks. Each cup is assembled to order, from cappuccinos capped with microfoam to caffe lattes blending concentrated espresso with generous steamed milk—ideal for fending off the chill between races. The menu also includes dessert-style concoctions like the iced caffe shakerato, shaken with fresh cream and milk, and affogato, poured hot over cold soft-serve ice cream.
A perennial favourite at the counter is the French toast, often snapped up early by visitors seeking something sweet to pair with freshly brewed coffee. For heartier appetites, the kitchen serves hot beef offal melted with cheese, hormone cheese over rice, meat-sauced spaghetti, and handheld French dogs topped with ingredients like salsa or melted cheese and basil.
Items can be enjoyed in the seating area or packed to go, making it easy to carry food and drinks back to your stand seats. The counter also pours beer, shochu highballs, and whisky, providing an easy option whether you want a quick warm-up or a drink to celebrate a winning race.
